Dr. Jennifer Daniels graduated from Nottingham High School in Syracuse, NY IN 1975. She attended Harvard/Radcliffe College. She was distinguished as a National Merit Achievement Scholar and a Radcliffe National Scholar. After majoring in Biology, she received her BA degree with Honors.  Dr. Daniels entered The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and at the same time, completed her studies at The Wharton School. She received her Medical Degree (MD) and her MBA concurrently at the end of 4 years.

She is the co-author of Dick Gregory's memoir, Callus on My Soul, as well as the award-winning author of several books for young readers: The Legend of Buddy Bush; The Return of Buddy Bush; I, Dred Scott: A Fictional Slave Narrative Based on the Life and Legal Precedent of Dred Scott; and The Baptism.

Judy Matthews is the chair of the National Congress of Black Women, Incorporated Los Angeles Chapter (NCBW-LAC). As a founding member of the Chapter, Judy’s dedication to the organization and the residents she serves is instrumental in NCBW-LAC receiving local and national recognition for their community service.  In addition, Judy represents the national organization as a board member serving on the National Committee for Eradication of Slavery and Human Trafficking and as the National Membership and Scholarship Chair.  She is also a member of the Women with Voices and other organizations including: Women Leadership Forum (national), Southern California Women Health Conference, and Southern California Regional Advisory Board of the Millennium Foundation, Inc.  Judy has received recognition and honors for her commitment and dedication to improving the lives of others and her leadership in the community, including the 2007 Leadership Award from the Federal Judicial Center, Washington, D.C., 2013 Charity of Choice Award presented by the Millennium Foundation, Inc. and will be inducted at the 2015 African Goodwill Awards in the African Family Mpika In Northern Zambia

After graduating from Montclair High School, Baskerville received her bachelor’s degree from Douglas College in New Jersey, and later earned her J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law in 1979.
